After the holidays are over and all the Christmas decor is packed away I usually decorate my booth and home with winter whites and start adding pops of pinks and red for Valentine’s Day. I don’t go all out for this holiday, but I do like to create some cute Valentine’s Day vignettes. Usually, about mid-Feb I will start to bring in Spring items.
This year we want to share more your booth photos with our readers. Last week we shared Winter Whites. If you missed that post you can click here If you are new to the industry this will give you an idea of how to decorate after Christmas.
This first pic is from The Shabby Chicas located in Selma, TX
This next pic is from Georgie Emerson Vintage located in Canal Winchester, OH This is a great example of neutral Valentine’s Day decor. This dealer uses subtle touches by incorporating pillows that are embellished with XOXO and hearts.
The next two pics are from Christina Simbeck.
We are loving this sweet booth. These were submitted by Regina Bean. You can find her on Instagram at @queenbeantreasures
If you are like me, you are always running short on time and can no longer make the crafts and DIY projects that you want to. So I found some cute Valentine’s Day pillows and banners on Amazon. This is a set of 4, 18×18 pillow covers. Click here for more details.
I love this neutral burlap heart banner for my fireplace mantle. How stinking cute. These would look great in a booth too. This is 9 feet for just $7.99 and free shipping.
This next booth belongs to Tracy Lane of Tracy Lyn’s Antiques. We love her retro vibe. Tracy got creative and found a clever way to display her beautiful vintage doilies while decorating for Valentine’s Day too. She has done a great job creating an eye-catching, Valentine vignette on her shelving units.
We know you could create a similar look by pulling together some things you probably already have lying around. This would be easy to do by pulling in some red and pink dishes or vases, old photos, and faux roses. This vignette has my wheels spinning. Not that they every stop. I mean does a creative ever stop thinking and dreaming? Maybe we need to host a Valentine’s Day Vignette Challenge. Should we? Would any of you be interested? Please comment on our Facebook page if you would be interested.
I think these little burlap bags would be cute if they were filled with candy hearts or other treats. Perfect for Galentine’s Day and coworkers. Just add a little gift tag to complete the look and you have a sweet gift for someone. These would also work in a booth. You could either leave them empty and let the buyer fill them with their own treasures or you could add Hershey Kisses to them. A lot of customers are looking for quick gifts. They like it when we have already done the work for them.
Let’s say you really don’t want to go all out on Valentine’s Day. Maybe you just want to add a few touches. You could add some fake roses to your booth. You can find those at Dollar Tree. Another simple way to get in the spirit is to sprinkle your booth with heart confetti. Amazon has a box of fabric hearts for $10.99. You get 600 to a box. I’m sure you would have enough to decorate your home and booth.
You could also add little bowls of complimentary kisses to your booth. Get the bag that has the red and pink ones. This would add some color. One year I wasn’t feeling it. So this is how I decorated but I also added in some vintage valentine cards as well. I think these pretty heart lights would be adorable.
